ABOUT
Piano works for four hands form an important body of works among Schubert's compositions. They range from smaller works, dances and duets, written for domestic music making and entertainment to large scale concert works of symphonic proportions such as the 1824 Grand Duo in C major. This program features a selection of works from Schubert's enormous range of works for four hands, curated by Jeanell Carrigan AM, head of collaborative piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
